Your first 30 minutes

Get from an empty workspace to routing live leads, in the order that actually works.

How it works
The journey of one lead
  1. 01
    Capture
    Ad, form, WhatsApp or call
  2. 02
    De-dupe
Phone and email matched on entry
  3. 03
    Score
    Signals become a probability
  4. 04
    Distribute
    Right agent, right centre
  5. 05
    Engage
    Call queue, WhatsApp, email
  6. 06
    Convert
    Deal, revenue, attribution back
Every step runs automatically unless a rule tells it otherwise. Lead Loss Protection watches all six.

This is the shortest path from a new workspace to a team working real leads. Do these five things in order and you will be operational today.

Tip
If you would rather we did the setup with you, book a session from Support. It takes about forty minutes and we will do the import for you.

1. Set your organisation details

Go to Settings → Organisation. Set your company name, timezone and currency.

The timezone matters more than it looks. Every report in the product buckets by *your* calendar day, not UTC — so "leads today" means today where your team is. Getting this wrong shifts every daily number by a few hours.

2. Check your lead stages

Go to Settings → Lead Stages. You will find a default set already there:

StageWhat it means
NewCaptured, nobody has touched it
ContactedSomeone has spoken to them
QualifiedGenuine opportunity
ConvertedWon
LostDisqualified or gone cold

Rename these to match what your team already says out loud. Do not invent a fifteen-stage pipeline on day one — you can add stages later, and a stage nobody updates is worse than one that does not exist.

Two flags on each stage do real work:

  • Is converted — this stage counts as a win in every report.
  • Is disqualified — this stage counts as a loss.

If neither is set on any stage, your conversion rate will read 0% forever.

3. Add your team

Go to Administration → Users and invite people. Each person gets a role, and the role decides two separate things:

  • What they can do — view leads, place calls, export data, manage settings.
  • What they can see — their own records, their team's, their location's, or everything.

Start with the defaults. Telecaller sees their own leads, Manager sees their team, Super admin sees everything.

Read Roles and permissions before you start customising — the data scope is the part people usually get wrong.

4. Import your existing leads

Go to Settings → Import. Upload a CSV, map your columns, and the importer will flag duplicates before anything is created.

Full detail in Importing your leads.

Note
Import *before* you turn on distribution. Otherwise every historical lead you import gets routed to a telecaller as though it were new, and someone will spend Monday calling a customer who bought in 2023.

5. Turn on distribution

Go to Administration → Lead Distribution. There is already a default round-robin rule; it starts empty because new users are not automatically added to the routing pool.

Open the rule, add your telecallers, set a daily cap, and save. From that moment every new lead is assigned within seconds of arriving.

See Lead distribution for territory rules, weighting and working hours.

What to do tomorrow

Once leads are flowing, these three are worth the next hour:

  1. Connect your lead sources so leads arrive automatically instead of by import — see Capturing leads.
  2. Connect WhatsApp if your team uses it, which in most Indian sales teams it does — see WhatsApp messaging.
  3. Open Analytics and look at the follow-up adherence number. It is usually the first thing worth fixing.
